No - Every person who can safely have a treatment is welcome to book.

We are happy to drive an hour radius from Masterton and further afield by agreement. Martinborough, Greytown, Carterton, Featherston, Masterton & Riversdale are all easy options for us.

You are in charge of the organisation of your trip, however we are happy to offer suggestions if you aren’t sure about where to stay or what to do.

It is definitely worth having a phone call to discuss the logistics and the timing of treatments and how they will fit into your weekend before you choose your accomodation as in order for this to work well we will need easy access and a room for treatments that can be closed off, with power and water (eg a bedroom with an ensuite on the first floor).

No. However, there is a minimum spend regardless of the number of people.

As a guideline we can comfortably do 4-6 treatments which would likely be 4-6 people and take between 3-8 hours.

It all depends on what and how many treatments are selected. There are ways to structure the day to fit more treatments in or slow things down. It’s your trip so with a bit of planning we can make a treatment schedule that works for the group.

Yes.

• Access to the house/room needs to be easy. The machine is very heavy and cannot be wheeled over very rocky gravel or carried up lots of stairs.

• A room that can be closed off while the treatments are in session so people cannot walk into the room without warning for laser safety and privacy.

• Accessible water and power.

• Good lighting would be an advantage although we can bring a portable lighting if necessary.

• Mirrors, windows and reflective surfaces can be covered while treatments are in session for laser safety.

• A great option is a bedroom with an ensuite with room for a portable treatment bed (similar to a portable massage table). A little furniture rearranging for a few hours might be necessary - we will arrive early to organise the room and put it back together when we finish.

You can have BBL and or MOXI - face and body treatments. You can also have laser hair removal.

If you choose to have laser hair removal and BBL or MOXI, the treatment areas should be different (eg. laser hair removal underarms and legs and BBL/MOXI face).

BBL and MOXI treatments can be done together in a stacked treatment.

If you choose to select the Lucere clinic as your location, you can also select Sylfirm X RF Microneedling treatments.

The minimum spend on treatments for the day is $3000.

A travel and setup fee might be applicable depending on your location. Ask us about this when you are arranging your accomodation.

Skincare products, post-care kits or goody bags can be arranged and are an addition to the minimum treatment spend.

There are no travel costs if the treatments are close by in a main centre (eg. Greytown central).

Ideally you wouldn’t be drinking heavily on or around the day of these treatments.

We recommend to avoid drinking alcohol immediately pre or 24 hrs post-treatment to avoid the heat/inflammation it creates. Maybe enjoy an alcohol-free day or weekend?

Your treatments will be performed by owner / operator, Caroline our certified laser technician. She is very experienced and performs these treatments every day at the Lucere clinic, so you are in good hands.

You will be well-prepped with all the relevant instructions and information at your initial consultation.

Prior to the trip, each person receiving a treatment will need to have a consultation to cover health and safety considerations. Consultations are essential. This can be an online virtual appointment, or in person in Masterton (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday) or Palmerston North (Thursdays only). The consultation costs $50 and includes the post-care cooling products required immediately after your treatment. You will receive these on the day of your treatment.

The BBL and MOXI consumables are single use only and the machines are cleaned and sterilised between each client.

You will be required to wear protective eye wear and sign a consent form.

Everyone is different, however in order for you to be able to organise your weekend approprately, let’s assume that everyone will be a little red, warm and puffy! Ideally you won’t go out to a restaurant or winery straight after your treatment!

Makeup and skincare can be worn as soon as the heat is gone from the skin. We have specific post-treatment skincare advice which we will cover at your consultation.

Everyone responds differently to the treatments so we make the following suggestions for the group:

• Make a list of all your activities to figure out where a treatment day can slot in nicely. Call us to discuss this and we can help with logistics and planning.

• Schedule any physical activities prior to treatment day as we will ask you to stay cool for 24-48 hours after (eg. no gym, sauna, exercise, very hot showers etc).

• Plan dinners out, shopping excursions prior-to, or the next day (with big hats and makeup if necessary!). Maybe order-in that night, or wait go out once you’ve had a few hours post-treatment (particularly if you’ve had a MOXI).

• Avoid drinking alcohol immediately pre or 24 hrs post-treatment to avoid the heat/inflammation it creates. Maybe enjoy an alcohol-free day or weekend?

• Avoid swimming or going in the hot tub post-treatment. We don’t want your skin irritated by the heat or chemicals in the swimming pool.

Your skincare routine might need to change a little bit prior and post treatment. Any active ingredients like vitamin A’s and C’s or physical /chemical exfoliants like AHA’s and BHA’s will need to be put on hold for approximately a week - we can discuss exactly how this will work at your consultation.

Your skincare for the week will need to be very healing and non-irritating. We have our favourite post-care products that we sell and are happy to bring them along for purchase.

The group is welcome to purchase our recommended post-care products to use and share for the weekend. You might enjoy this experience trying something new but sharing the cost!

We are happy to prepare a post-care kit or goody bag for each person which can be quoted for and organised upon request.

It is essential that each member of the group have a consultation before they commit to their treatment, just in case there is a reason that a treatment may not be suitable.

Each individual can book and pay for their consult at a time that suits them prior to confirmation of the trip. Consultations are $50 and can be virtual if members of the group are from out of town.

Upon final confirmation of the group and their selected treatments, each member will be sent an invoice for a deposit of $200. Deposits will be due by an agreed date prior to the cancellation date.

If for any reason the group booking is cancelled after the agreed cancellation date, the deposits of all members will not be refunded.

As you can appreciate, an agreed cancellation date gives us a chance to book another group, or for Caroline to plan her own getaway if her time becomes free!

As a guideline, depending on the dates of your trip, the cancellation date could be anywhere between 2-4 weeks out.
